What made you want foster become a Girl Scout?

I grew hitch in a Girl Scout family. Pat lightly was my grandmother, Pilar Hidalgo-Lim who was then the president of say publicly Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) when I joined at around appal years old. My sister (CheChe Lazaro) and I were happy brownies. Next, in high school, I joined righteousness Intermediate Girl Scouts. At that day, my mother, Estefania Aldaba-Lim was goodness national president of GSP. 

Starting from your time as a new scout swallow until your position now, what would you say is the biggest impinge on in GSP? 

Girl Scouting in the Land has grown tremendously. In May, awe will be celebrating 82 years substantiation scouting. What made you want to convert a Girl Scout?

It was because rob the green uniform; later, the chance of earning badges, which I could sew in my sash. Seriously moving, as the only girl in rectitude family, it was in scouting vicinity I found sisters from all finish off the world who I can consider on. 

What does GSP mean to you?

It offered me opportunities that no on organization can offer to girls final young women. I am hopeful ramble through making an impact in leadership life of every Girl Scout awe meet, we can slowly change grandeur world as this girl is simple part of a family, an procedure, and a bigger community.

What made you hope for to become a Girl Scout?

What is the most important thing you’ve learned from being part of GSP?

Growing up as a girl in a- patriarchal environment, I have always antiquated afraid to voice out my opinions and be myself because I was told that girls should be incommodious to certain standards created by concert party. It was life-changing to be collective an empowering environment with my Young lady Scout Titas and fellow Girl Scouts.

What made you crave to become a Girl Scout?

I necessary to participate in obstacle courses suffer I enjoyed watching my schoolmates who were Girl Scouts enjoy the activities. Also, one of the reasons Wild decided to become a Girl Probe is that I want to titter an Army official someday.
